Hybrid & Dreadlock
Extensions

Hybrid & Loose waves are made bespoke to you in any colour / length.

The hair is braided in at the root onto a small dreadlock extension, they cause no damage, no discomfort and you don’t even need to bleach / dye / damage your hair for dramatic colour transformations!!
You must get a refit every 2-3 months to prevent the root area matting from regrowth.

The synthetic hair we use is a higher quality fibre than most synthetic options which can be more plastic like. The hair moves like natural hair and is not wiry or “too shiny”

Please also bear in mind synthetic hair is cheaper / a lower budget option for hair extensions & dreads and won’t last as long or feel the exact same as high quality human hair.

Please keep in mind synthetic hair can’t be neglected it must be looked after correctly - it’s not human hair.

Aftercare:

  • Use a satin or silk pillow case to sleep on.

  • If using a scrunchie or hair tie, use a giant satin or silk one - these things eliminate any frizz you may get from other materials - we sell both of these if you don’t already have them.

  • Spray with cold water or synthetic detangle spray daily and separate each curl / wave

  • Put in a loose braid at night

  • Have a refit every 2-3 months

  • Wash scalp twice a week with an oil infused shampoo and let soapy water run through / rinse (don’t wash with water that is too hot the curl will drop)

  • Hybrids: Allow each curl to tighten and just keep separated.

  • “Loose waves” these can be brushed through daily starting from the ends but still seperate daily to to avoid the waves tangling together.

FAQ'S:

1. Can I wash my hair? Yes you just shampoo your scalp by diluting shampoo and gently massaging the scalp area - let the soapy water run through and rinse well (tip: If you have super hot showers it’s best to wash seperate as water that is too hot may cause the curl to drop a little - comfortably warm water is fine just not too hot).

2. Can I swim and go abroad with these? Yes!! These are amazing for holiday and believe it or not they are not too hot or heavy :-) after swimming be sure to wash. Natural water is fine such as the sea or rivers but be weary in swimming pools with high volumes of chlorine and chemicals the colours can change due to high percentages of bleach in chlorine.

3. What products do I need? You don’t really need any! Spraying cold water in the morning and separating with fingers works fine but if you want a product / something that smells nice I recommend Lullabelz knots out spray for synthetic hair extensions and it smells great! You can also use coconut oil or diluted fabric conditioner to soften (rinse after).

4. Can I brush them? For hybrids - No … use fingers to seperate - do not brush.

5. You can brush the “loose waves” with a soft bristle brush starting from bottom to top.

6. Can I dye my hair or get my roots done? No … you would do this when you have your refits if needed but your natural hair is well hidden so it’s not essential to have to do this while you’re wearing waves.

7. Can I re use them? Yes - some people get 3-4 refits out of them! But over time the curl will tighten rather than be “soft” most people prefer this and they will last and last if looked after properly - we do recommend a break from time to time to give your scalp and hair a rest / treatment it’s recommended with any hair extensions even the super safe ones!

8. Will they damage my hair? No - your natural hair is braided in with clean / tidy sections of hair that are much bigger than usual hair extensions use and when not cause any damage if you follow the aftercare / get your refits on time! (This eliminates the risk of too much matting on your regrowth)

9. Please bear in mind synthetic hair is cheaper / a lower budget option for hair extensions & dreads and won’t last quite as long or feel the exact same as high quality human hair.
